Here at First Reformed we desire to be a nurturing family where we actively reflect Christ’s love and build trusting relationships.

Above all, our faith is centered in Christ. Every need of ours finds its answer in Jesus Christ, our only means of salvation.

Our authority is Holy Scripture, the living Word of God. The Holy Spirit takes the Word of God and makes it real and actual in our lives.

We celebrate two sacraments: baptism and the Lord’s Supper. These sacraments, instituted by Christ, are a means of grace within the covenant community. They are visible signs and seals of something internal and invisible and the means by which God works in us through the power of the Holy Spirit.

You may be wondering what the word "Reformed" means in our name. We are part of the Reformed Church in America which is one of the oldest denominations in the United States. To learn more about our history as a denomination and go to the RCA website, click here.
